Keratin vs Biotin Shampoo
At the very basic level, both Keratin and Biotin are proteins. To be more specific, Keratin is a type of protein, while Biotin is a part of the B-Vitamin family. Both Keratin and Biotin are good for hair in their own ways. Keratin gets into a hair follicle to make it firmer. Hence, Keratin shampoo makes frizzy hair smoother and adds shine and lustre to dull hair. Biotin, on the other hand, is a type of vitamin that addresses hair fall and hair thinning, and it stimulates hair growth.

To use: Wet hair thoroughly. Apply shampoo to scalp and gently massage into hair to workup a rich lather. Rinse completely. Repeat, if necessary. Follow with your favorite Mill Creek Botanicals Conditioner to maximize results.

Bought this shampoo and the pairing conditioner and for the first time in years, my hair actually feels clean after blowdrying. I am Chinese and have a full head of fine and very straight smooth hair. I have tried many types of shampoo and conditioners, high-end and the regular ones like Pantene and Head & Shoulders. They all leave this film on my hair, especially on the top of the head such that the hair feels grimey, clumpy/streaky.
I think a lot of shampoos and conditioners are over compensating with ingredients to help people with more coarse or non-smooth hair and since my hair is already in good shape, it leaves this unwanted residue.
This Millcreek product just leaves the hair feeling so clean. And surprisingly, hair static has also disappeared unlike those aforementioned products which make my hair also very staticy.

pros : i love this shampoo. i have very thin hair no volume and thye get very dry and damaged during winter ( because of the frequent use of the blow dryer)
i was looking for a shampoo that would help me get thicker healthier hair and thats exactly what it did . after one month use not only my hair looked shinier with a lot more volume but i also grew 0.6 inch in lenght ( thanks to the biotin). my hair feel a lot softer at the touch .
i m allergic to sulfate, parabens and phenoxythanol so i was glad this formula has none of that . its very hard to find a beauty product now our days that does not contains phenoxythanol. its one of the rare shampoo i can use without having an itchy scalp or a bad allergic reaction to.
the formula is natural.the ingredients are simple and easy to understand . only the aloe vera is certified organic
the peppermint oil and jojoba oil are very nourishing. i loved the minty fragrance , very refreshing .
also loved that this shampoo is cruelty free ( thats something very important to me )
this shampoo is made in USA.
cons : wish the whole formula was a 100 percent organic

Finding a product that works well for fine hair can be tricky but this one does the job for my fine wavy hair. I have used this product off and on for years now and like it very much. Not all natural shampoos create a lather but this one does (a medium amount). While it’s a great product, I’m still searching for the perfect shampoo, so 4 stars. I do recommend it and think it’s worth a try. It’s nice to add extra essential oils to this shampoo for the extra boost.

I don’t have this reaction when using the Mill Creek products. It foams well, smells good, washes out easily, leaves hair feeling very nice when dry. My hair is not falling out as much, but I don’t shampoo my hair everyday, I don’t tie it up in a tight ponytail as I was in the past, stress is managed, diet and exercise. My hair doesn’t feel as thin.
