To Use:
Wet hair thoroughly. Apply shampoo to scalp and gently massage into hair to workup a lather. Rinse completely. Repeat, if necessary. Follow with Mill Creek Botanicals Henna Conditioner to maximize results.

I was looking for a sulfate-free shampoo that would not over-dry my fine, wavy/curly hair (2b-3a, like Nicole Kidman or Botticelli curls), or weigh it down, and would not strip the henna that I use on my hair every couple of months. I love this product! It actually cleans my hair, without stripping it of its natural oils. My hair feels soft, flowy, and healthy afterward, and it’s safe for henna! It’s the only sulfate-free shampoo that I’ve found that’s able to do everything. It even has a nice, soft, natural scent and mild lather – not detergent-y at all, but also not like you’re trying to rinse your hair with vinegar, so you can spread it evenly and easily. Like I’ve said, I’ve tried a lot of products, and this one is my favorite by far!
After using this product for a few months along with leaving in the henna conditioner, I no longer have fly-aways! I use the shampoo 1-2 times per week, no more than every 3 days, and leave in the henna conditioner. If I feel like I need a rinse in between, I wet my hair, apply the conditioner and style as usual.
The last time I went to the hairdresser, they used a regular shampoo on me, and I had dermatitis flakes and a horribly itchy scalp for four days afterward, so now, I tell my hairdresser that I’m coming in with freshly shampooed hair with no product so all they need to do is wet it to style and cut it.
I can’t believe this has been around since the 1970’s and I’m just discovering it now! It’s a match made in heaven. Thank you Mill Creek Botanicals!

I was looking for a shampoo that didn’t make my hair oily after a day or so of washing it and this shampoo doesn’t! My hair stays clean for a while also doesn’t weigh your hair down at all. Love this shampoo!!

I have been using Mill Creek shampoo and conditioner for 35 years and NEVER looked back. Orginally only found in health food stores. So glad it went mainstream. But I have noticed stores in Michigan have not been stocking the shampoo and conditioner in the last few years. Very sad. These terrific products!!

My hair is thick and can get quite unruly using some brands of hair shampoo, but after discovering the Mill Creek products over 25 years ago, my hair has always been easy to manage and looks fantastic. Since using Mill Creek, I haven’t had itchy scalp, lacklustre hair or any other problems, and all I can say is thank goodness for Mill Creek… without your excellent hair products that don’t contain any of those dreaded nasties, my hair would not be in such great condition nor look this good.
