Keratin vs Biotin Shampoo
At the very basic level, both Keratin and Biotin are proteins. To be more specific, Keratin is a type of protein, while Biotin is a part of the B-Vitamin family. Both Keratin and Biotin are good for hair in their own ways. Keratin gets into a hair follicle to make it firmer. Hence, Keratin shampoo makes frizzy hair smoother and adds shine and lustre to dull hair. Biotin, on the other hand, is a type of vitamin that addresses hair fall and hair thinning, and it stimulates hair growth.

To Use: Wet hair thoroughly. Apply shampoo to scalp and gently massage into hair to workup a lather. Rinse completely. Repeat, if necessary. Follow with Mill Creek Botanicals Keratin Conditioner to maximize results.

By far my favorite shampoo- I first found it in a tiny mom and pop health food store where I chose it solely by smell. Didn’t know at the time that it would be so amazing! I have dry curly hair that can be brittle and this shampoo definitely helps to strengthen my strands and reduce breakage, which in turn makes my hair seeem like its growing faster (less breakage = longer hair!). Plus, it smells great! Definitely recommend the conditioner as well. If your hair is similar to mine, you won’t regret this purchase!

I had a keratin treatment done on my hair about a month ago and was using Moroccan Oil shampoo but it was removing the keratin treatment so I bought this one. I LOVE IT! It is the best shampoo ever. My hair air dries very smooth and silky. It feels super soft as well and as for the smell, I did not find it as bad as other customer ratings have said. I use it along with the conditioner as well.

I’ve been using this for about a month now after getting a keratin treatment in the salon. Seems to be doing the job. My hair looks a bit shinier after blow drying and styling so that’s a plus. I usually only wash my hair every 3-5 days but by day 3 my scalp is pretty oily. Overall good value. I’ll probably buy again.

I’ve used this along with the Millcreek Keratin Conditioner and its left my hair smoother and less frizzy. If you are looking for typical shampoo lather, you will need to wag your hair twice (semi rinse between).

Love this product! My hair was dry, coarse, thick, frizzy and curly. No matter what i used nothing worked long term. So i bought this thinking how bad could it be? I cant believe the difference! Soft, no frizz and my curls are looking like curls! I loved it so much, i sent an order to a family member who lives in an extremely humid state who was having the same issues but worse! The GREAT Keratin shampoo is back! I first discovered this shampoo in 1978 and used it exclusively for the next three decades. There was a formula change (water) about ten years ago and I was disappointed in that the shampoo didn’t perform the same. Sadly I have searched for a replacement but could find none to compare to the original Keratin shampoo and have actually been mixing shampoos together trying to formulate a substitute. Recently I noticed new packaging so I thought maybe the original is back, tried it and am thrilled to say it is back and wonderful! How I’ve missed this shampoo.
